Lisa Davis

Instructor, Barreworks Ballet WorkOut & Barreworks WorkOut

Lisa started dancing at a very young age and went on to train at The Royal Ballet School in Richmond Park for 6 years. During this time, she performed with The Royal Ballet school in Swan Lake and with The Dutch National Ballet in Romeo and Juliet, amongst others.

She later went on to train at English National Ballet and Arts Educational, where she spent extra hours on top of ballet, studying other forms of dance such as tap and street dance. Lisa was forced to stop dancing professionally due to a knee injury and for a while taught Ballet to young Children in various schools, before beginning a career in care for 11 years.
But her love of movement and personal drive to maintain her fitness lead her to train as a Pilates instructor and she has been teaching group and private classes for the last 18 months.

When Lisa discovered Barreworks and found that her former 'classmates' were part of our amazing team, she fell head over heels back in love with the idea of teaching ballet to adults. Her passion for classical ballet, alongside her fun, upbeat and nurturing character are all evident in her teaching style. Prepare to work hard, and to learn from the very best!
