Leanne Cope - Barreworks Ballet Instructor
Leanne trained at The Royal Ballet Lower and Upper School.
She joined The Royal Ballet, Covent Garden in 2003 and was promoted to first artist in 2008. Whilst in the company she danced all the classics; Swan Lake, Clara in The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet plus she created roles in Liam Scarlett’s Sweet Violets and Asphodel Meadows.
Leanne went on the create the role of Lise Dassin in An American in Paris which she performed in Paris Broadway and London’s West End receiving a Tony and Grammy nomination and winning the Astaire award for ‘best female dancer 2016’.
Leanne will appear in cinemas worldwide as Lise in An American in Paris on May 16th 2018.
Leanne teaches our Ballet Workout on Friday evenings at 7pm and is currently training with us to become a Barreworks Instructor. With high demand for her class, you will need to book ahead to secure your spot!
